NIIEFA-ENERGO, LLC performs work involved in designing traction and step-down substations with primary voltage of up to 220 kV. The enterprise is a member of non-commercial partnership of the Baltic Association of Designers self-regulatory organization; it has a competency certificate for certain types of works that affect the safety of capital construction projects.

In working as general designer, NIIEFA-ENERGO uses external subcontracting for the following work:

• water supply and drainage;
• master plan and transport;
